I was pleased and honored to be sworn in as the Alderman of Chicago’s 1st Ward on March 26, 2010. As Alderman, I’ll look for community-based solutions to solve our biggest challenges. I’ll be a strong and independent advocate for the people of the 1st Ward in the Chicago City Council and no one else. |

Notes Public Hearings on CPS Budget - Lane Tech, TONIGHT!Chicago Public Schools released their 2012 Budget on Friday evening August 5th. The budget includes a $150 million tax increase. You are allowed to make comments about the budget at one of three public meetings.
Registration for public comment occurs between 6 pm and 7 p.m. for each hearing.
Where:Lane Tech High School (2501 W. Addison)
When:Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 7 p.m.

When: Thursday, August 11, 2011, 7 p.m.
