1st Ward Report |
I was pleased and honored to be sworn in as the Alderman of Chicago’s 1st Ward on March 26, 2010. As Alderman, I’ll look for community-based solutions to solve our biggest challenges. I’ll be a strong and independent advocate for the people of the 1st Ward in the Chicago City Council and no one else. |
Halloween Party @ Commercial Park… October 29 - 2 p.m.
Nearly last call for the exciting Circus in the Parks!
I am happy to welcome Circus in the Parks to the 1st Ward as they perform at Commercial Park Oct. 15 and 16.
Four shows will be held in the little big top, being located at 1845 W. Rice street (one block north of Chicago Ave, off of Wood street). The proceeds from Commercial Park’s portion will go towards improvements at two great 1st ward playlots; Snowberry and Superior.
This is an absolutely incredible show, incredible people and circus goers leave expressing loads of excitement with the new show and the new tent! Please plan on coming out and supporting this great cause and seeing a great show.
